My name is Charlie, I am the artist and owner of Casinha Tattoo Studio. Recently I returned to my home town of Barry after living in New Zealand and Brazil for the past decade, I knew that Goodsheds was the place for my Tattoo Studio and so Casinha (Portuguese for Little Home) came to be.
Casinha Tattoo Studio is a family-run business with two grown-ups and two little girls behind the scenes, one with two legs and one with four! Working in the industry for five years, I learned my craft in New Zealand where I worked in busy high street studios. I often work freehand, drawing directly onto skin with no stencil involved. This style of tattooing allows for organic movement and a tattoo that naturally flows with the contours of your body.
I specialise in ornamental, botanical and blackwork tattooing although I do enjoy working in a range of styles. Flash designs are often available on instagram and I am always open to your ideas and working with you to create a custom tattoo.
